Green: The Green Pill- At age thirteen, you are given a green tablet. Green tablets automatically calm you, which is especially nice if you're having an anxiety attack. You can take it up to once a week without the Officials taking notice, yet you are allowed to take it once a day at most.
The green pill has been mentioned several times. Cassia Reyes is holding a promise to her Grandfather not to take the green pill, ever.
The Hill and its trees, the Arboretum, and the trees on the front lawns of Mapletree Borough were also examples of green symbols.
Green is the symbol of growth, sensation, hope, fertility, and in the negative context, death and decay.
I think the green symbols match up nearly completely with the book, and the positive one especially. And the negative ones...well, you'll just have to read the books to find out. :) (Hint: Something green goes bye-bye :( )
